Trip to Utah

We had such a great time. It was just what I needed. Here are some more pics.

My friend Jen moved to American Fork last fall. I am so glad we were able to go see her while in Utah. Here is Jen's little boy Trenton holding Hunter. He is so dang cute with that cheesy smile.

Audrey and Aida were having fun riding the car at the mall where we had lunch at Red Robin. Kassie was trying to eat the string on the balloon. Hunter is getting so big. He weighs 12 lbs. now.

We also got to spend some time with other niece Kelsey. She is living in Jordan with her mom's sister and starting school in the fall. She looks so happy and couldn't wait to see the babies.

Our last night of Utah. Everyone was so beat from all the traveling. Robin, Dad, Uncle Keith and his girlfriend June after they dropped me off in Utah all went up to my Dad's Sister Darlene's 60th Anniversary party in Washington. They were so beat.

Glad for babies

I was so glad that I could get away from home and come visit my sister Beth in Utah. I know I am so dirt poor but it is just great to see my babies play with her kids. My neices and nephew just mawled kassie and hunter. They just couldn't get enough of them. The first day we all went to the park and Kassie is now saying in DA DA DA DA. The other night we just hung at the mall and played with babies. Today we took a fun bath because Kassie tipped over into a plate of syrup. Tomorrow is scrapbooking. Yeah! Maybe I can get Hunter's scrapbook started.

Happy Mother's Day

It was a really good day even though my husband had to work. But he left me a nice card and a gift card to old navy. Does he know me or what? So we just hung out with my dad and family. I sent texts and emails to our birth moms for Hunter and Kassie. Can I get a shout out for them. They are such the greatest moms of all. They have been such troopers throughout this whole time. They are truely part of our family and we love them so much. I can never say how much I appreciate what the did for our family. They made me a mom. And I am loving every moment of it.

FSA Conference

We had a FSA Conference the last couple of weeks. It was really fun because we got to share of success story with so many others. We had lunch after the FSA meeting. Just getting to know other couples in our group. FSA stands for Families Supporting Adoption. It is a great organization for the adopted and adoptive couples. They have great info and stories that just make you feel great. Here is a few pics.

Happy Birthday Mom!

In Memory of Geraldine Lee Passey
"Jerry the Giraffe"
Today would of been our mother's 68 birthday. She died May 8, almost 3 years ago.
I know we all miss her very much. And cherished every moment we had with her.
She truely was our best friend. It is perfect that we get to
celebrate mother's day as well around this hard time for all of us.

You are my sunshine in my soul today.

I have to tell you that this last couple of months have been the most challenging times ever. As most of you know it has been hard caring for two newborns. I know, I know, this is what I asked for. And it was. But little did I know it was really going to be hard. I'm not out of the woods yet but I would like to think that there is a little sunshine coming out of the clouds. Kassie and Hunter are the best things that could of happen to me. I am so grateful for my neighbors and ward sisters. They truely have been my sunshine in my life. When singing my mom's favorite song doesn't work I know I can count on them. My got to sing that song to most of her grandkids. And now I get to sing to my children. The second I sing it they mostly calm down. I love being a mom. I love being a mom. I miss my mom.

Kassie's first two teeth

She did really good. She didn't crank to much. And only had a few fevers. Overall she was great.
