Our Thanks for Birth Mothers

Thanksgiving we were able to visit Hunter's birth family. No one knew we were coming and we were able to surprise Deena. She was so excited to see him. We had a good time just talking about what Hunter like to do. We even sang the Wheels on the bus to his family. I am grateful for Birthmother and to have the spirit with us so we can have great visits.

Kassie's 2nd Birthday

She loved the cake and loved that everyone was there. She would not for the life of her take a nap. I was hope she would so she would be in a good mood but didn't happen. We love her and love celebrating the day she was brought into this world. We didn't get to be there when she was born but we were able to see her two weeks later. We love Mama Kassie and thought she was so brave. She loved this little girl. We are grateful for her and all she did
to let us raise baby Kassie.
The day we were asked to come visit Kassie in the hospital we got to meet Mama Kassie and Nana Paula. They welcomed us with open arms and made us feel really good about us being there. We had lots of good talks while sitting there getting all the paperwork done. It was like we had known each other for years. We will never forget the day we got to meet all these wonderful people that gave us our baby.

Update on life for now

Well Kassie is turning 2 next saturday. She is growing so fast. She can say lots of words. Momma, Daddy, Bubba, nigh night, mickey, outside, up, babie, more, bite, and on and on it goes. She is a pistle though. She was going through this hitting stage and already growing out of that. She just loves to sing funny songs with Dad and riding the quad and jumpin on the trampoline. She is still one of our babies and can't wait to see what she does next.

Hunter is talking alot too. He can say Dada, Mom, Sissy, Hot, Everything is Hot.
He is just a sweet little boy. He grew out of the loving stage and into the independant stage. He doesn't want mommy anymore he wants his dad. He has a fit when dad leaves the house or leaves without him on the quad. And he squeals like a girl. But when he is tired and wants to eat he knows who loves him the most and will take care of his needs. Mommy! Thats me.

Devin started school on the second course for Power plant school. As I call it. Still no word on jobs. And still no word on the house. We are just sitting ducks. I started Dance this fall already and the kids are cute as ever. I love teaching dance it really is a passion for me. We are trying to keep busy with kids and looking for work but staying strong with family prayer with our little family. We hope you all are doing good and heathly and hope to hear from you soon.

Dumbbell

Not that I am calling my son a dumbbell but this is stinkin hilarious. OK I decided again that I was going to start working out whether I have a buddy or not. But in a way I did. So I started my work out this morning and Hunter starting crying and wanting me to hold him. And Devin is trying really hard to occupy him but it is just not working. So my workout consists of weights and toward the end I just couldn't take his crying any more and gave in and picked him up during my cool down. Well anyway he was my sort to speak my "dumbbell" for the morning. I used him to work my biceps and such. He was happy and I still got my work out. I wish I got a picture but it didn't quit work out that way. It was really funny especially when he got all dizzy from me rotating my waist. I just thought you would enjoy this.

The other mothers in our life

Says "Happy Birthday Mama Kassie" XOXOXO. There is a drawing of her but can't see it.
Says "Happy Birthday Mama Deena" XOXOXO

It is just so great that both our birth moms have their birthday in the same month. We thought we would send a picture to them wishing them a Happy Birthday! From their other family. Thanks for all you did for us to be a family.

Camping trip with our Friends

Kassie watching Spongebob on DVD.
The two Buba'S
Trey and Dayton
Heather and Darren
Me and Kassie trying to reach for something. HaHa
Daddy's Little Girl

Us playing baseball. It totally reminds me of the scene from Twilight just without all the vampires. Hehe

On our way home from the trip dirty and red from the wind and sun. Good times.

We had a blast as you can see. If it wasn't for the dumb wind we could have stayed there the whole time. We love to camp. Hopefully we can do it a couple more times this summer. Kids loved it too.

The Crazy world today

Here we are in the world today where we are having to fight to keep the homes we live in and the jobs we love to provide for our families.

As you all know Devin lost his job back in November of last year and we are still playing catch up with our bills and trying to keep a float. We just found out some great news about Modified Loans. I will hope you will refer us that it will help us get a referral fee of $200 towards an attorney that will help us get out modification done on our home.

Here is her information.

She not the attorney but works for them.

Thanks for all of your love and support. Post her info on your blogs and email your friends. Thanks

Grandpa Haws Willow Orchards

We had such a great time the other day at Devin's Grandpa Pussy Willow Orchards. When Devin was a kid helping his grandpa cut back all the willows, they would have a hot dog roast with all the trimings from the willows. So we tried to remember his grandpa by doing it again. Devin's Dad is the only boy of 4 other girls. He misses his dad too.

Dance Dance Dance

All I have done is eat, sleep and drink Dance in the past two weeks. Now dancing is a different thing. I love to Dance but when you are on the other side of it. It is way hard. Don't get me wrong it is always very rewarding after watching the kids do their thing. But I am ready for my summer vacation.

We had a great day. My friend Heather and I both made out little girls crocheted outfits. They turned out really nice. We had dinner at Devin's family. It was a long day and everyone was tired by the time we got home.
