Update on Hunter Haws

Yes we have named our little boy that is coming soon. Devin and I had this name picked out in the first year we were married. Well we went to the first appoint last Friday and met the BM for the first time. She was a really nice woman. She had her little boy Ray with her and he was a hand full. She warned us that Hunter could be the same. She introduced us to the doctor as mommy and daddy to this baby. We were just ecstatic. Our next appointment will be next Friday. She will be getting checked for dilation and see where she is at that point. We couldn't be happier and pleased that our little family is almost here.

I will believe it when it happens again

I know that this sounds crazy but Kassie slept threw the whole night. I had to wake her up at 8:30 to see if you wanted to eat but she just wanted to play for a few minutes. I can't believe how much she is growing. I love every minute of it. She also is finally wearing 0-3 months in clothes. She will be turning 4 months tomorrow. We love her.

Christmas Gift

Christmas Gift is a tradition in Devin's family. They all call each other early Christmas morning and try to say Christmas Gift first. And as usually Devin's Dad is the first to say it. Devin tries to beat him.

Kassie was a Christmas Gift on my sister's tree.

Christmas Ward Party

I don't think we have been a Christmas Ward Party in so long. It was a good time to go and hang out and see the program about Christmas Spirit and the Savior's Birth.

My new ambition in life to help my fellow Adoptive Couples

You know until you go through something that is a hard experience and you know you have to do it anyway it helps to know you have someone that has been there as well. Once we got our little precious Kassie it really got me anxious to help my other friends with trying to find their precious little baby. I am going to see if I can pass their information out as much as I tried to get mine out. This is for all the adoptive couples that has been on that scary roller coaster and just can't seem to get off. I am hoping to help them as my family helped me. To all of my family and friends that helped and still helping us off that roller coaster.

Cacaos at the Haws House

We went to the valley this weekend. And before we left the heater went out. So we had a friend come over and help us fix it. Then we left for the valley. When we got back the whole house smelt of rotten eggs. We just could figure it out. So we called the Gas company to see if it was that. In the mean time the power for all of Taylor and Snowflake had gone out. And on top of that it was SNOWING! You know how I am with snow. It is my favorite thing in the whole world. (except my husband and baby) Just like mom. Oh yeah the Gas man said it wasn't gas so we are ok there. But we woke up to snow everywhere. We are just tickled. Now we get to introduce Kassie to the snow as well. Even though she won't understand but that is ok cause I know she will love it just as much as we do.
