We started about 7:30 and we read, prayed and sang songs. And then gave Kassie a kiss and said good night and before we could finish she knew what was coming and she threw her fit. Then I stood at the door and she cried, kicked, and threw her sippy at the door. So I waited for 5 min. and picked her up and layed her on her bed and kissed her again and said good night. I did it one more time about 10 min. later and then she was crying for dad. So dad did it and she finally layed down and when to bed...........
Until 4:00 we heard a little voice say "my blanie" am she came until our room and we didn't even hear her at first. I even thought she had crawled up on the bed and didn't even wake up. And then I said lets go back to bed and it was dark and thought she had ran into her room but she sneaked in bed with Dad instead. So I had to get her and put her back in bed. And even before I got to the door she was doing her same thing crying and stuff. And I waited for 5 min. and then picked her up and layed her in bed, gave kisses and sippy with blanket and she stayed. It really wasn't too bad. But we are determined to get this down cause Hunter gets it but for some reason Kassie never got on the train. so we are crossing our fingers for tonight.

jill it is hard at first but you have to be deligent and be firm .. kassie will get the drift on sleeping in her own bed..love and kisses to the kids
Its so hard! It really is. I feel your pain! Really its true. Someday it will just click and she will be fine sleeping in her own bed. We went through it with Jax. We still occasionally wake up to an extra body in our bed! You're a great Mom!!
Just found you via the "next blog" button...
Our almost two year old joins us in bed frequently. I know he'll outgrow it eventually, and I'll miss those snuggles! :)
Good luck hope you get some sleep. That's the hardest part being a mom is loosing sleep. I don't think I will ever get use to waking up at five and six o-clock in the morning. It's just to early to function.
