Family for life

We had a great labor day weekend. We got to spend the whole weekend with Kassie's birth family. They are a great family to be with. They joined us at the Sweet Corn Festival on Saturday morning. Neveah (baby kassie's big sis) got lots of candy from the floats. It took a while for her to warm up to us but we eventually had her jumping and flipping of Devin's back. Haha

Kassie and Neveah ended up staying the rest of the day with us and we had a barbeque and let the kids play around. Kassie, Neveah, baby Kassie and I ended up on our big bed watching spongebob and resting but neither of the babies would take a nap. They ended up staying the night as well. We put the babies to bed and watched a movie. It was a big day and we were all very tired. We woke up the next morning and got ready to go up to Kassie Grandparent ranch. It was so great. It also rained alot but we were able to have dutch oven stew and skones. It was so yummy. Then the night came to an end and we had to leave. It was a little hard for both of us but we know we will see each other again.

By the way, Thanks to Kassie's cousin for the pink sparkly shoes. She looks so cute in them.

Jill-a-gen you are so amazing to me and I really admire your willingness to mesh as a birth and adoptive family. You truly are Kassie's Mommy-no doubt but you are a bigger woman than I and I love you!!! I am so happy that you and Devin have your perfect little family. God could not have given those babies better parents. I believe Mom picked those two babies special for you. :)

What a blessing to your little girl that you are willing to keep the birth parents in her life. That is very unselfish and kind of you.
